Great All-around Flyer
This is a really nice looking, excellent flying midsize model aircraft. It has no bad tendencies and tracks well. The manual lists a 95mm to 100mm CG but most of us with this plane are finding 110mm to be the best balance point. Tail wheel assembly usually needs minor modification to work correctly. I used new control rods and stop-links to correct a common misalignment. Some people are also finding gaps at the wing joiners and my hatch release was painted and very hard to move until the paint was removed from the slider.

I flew the plane with 6000mAh 4S with no issues but 3000mAh to 4000mAh would be the best range. Decent power from the motor/prop combo. Wheels are large enough to take off from grass as long as it's reasonably short. Even with a well-balanced prop and Loctite my wheel bolts kept vibrating loose and required glue in the threads to keep them in place. Not a perfect plane but with some very minor modifications is a really nice plane that flies well, especially for the price.

An Incredibly Stable and Fast Plane
I like this plane so much I purchased a second as a spare. The stock power system is adequate for average sport flying but I installed a 2826 790kv motor running a 10x6 prop with 3700mA 6S 25C battery and stock ESC. It transformed the plane from really good to absolutely incredible. Mind you this mod did require fabricating a custom motor mount spacer to extend the new motor forward slightly to properly locate the spinner and prop.

The plane is super stable and smooth and now cruises with half throttle at around 65mph to 70mph. It hit 99mph in a few full-throttle passes. These were radar gun verified. With a 10x7 prop it would easily break 100mph. That's impressive for a tail-dragger.

Just as impressive is how slow it can glide. With this slightly heavier than normal 6S setup I cut throttle to roll out at the top of a big loop and proceeded to glide for a solid minute and a half before needing to apply throttle again. I joked with my flying buddy that I should have looked for a thermal. With a little lighter battery it would obviously glide even better and be even more agile, which is saying a lot. I'm seeing about 4 rolls per second as setup with aileron rates limited to 80%.

The Zazzy is just a fantastic, well-designed model aircraft with an unbelievably huge flight envelope. Can't say enough good about it. Big grins all-around.

Great Plane but no Spare Parts
I've given this plane a 4 star rating but the lack of the 5th star doesn't indicate negativity in the plane itself.
On the contrary. I thoroughly enjoyed flying it as it's stable, fast and has excellent aerobatic capabilities along with plenty of power off a 4 cell battery.
Unfortunately I hit a concrete post which shattered the whole front of the plane beyond repair but then found I was unable to buy a spare fuselage.
Originally the one I bought had the ailerons detached but was able to procure a new set of wings under the supplier's warranty so breaking the fuselage left me with 2 sets wings with nothing to attach them to so hence it only gets a 4 star rating.

Not A Rocket But Loads of Power!
This is a powerful plane and my first low wing tail-dragger after flying large 2 high wing planes, a 2 meter wing and a brushed delta plane. It's a heavy bird and she responds rapidly to stick movements. The tail wheel assembly gave me some problems to mount and didn't quite fit right. This resulted in too much work for the rudder servo which eventually failed mid-air. It did suffer a spiral nose dive into concrete and the fuselage was not repairable. I saved the rest as spare parts and now I'm ready buy another. I love how this plane handles and would recommend it for upper intermediate pilots. She needs a lot of space as she climbs quickly and covers distances fast.
